About this artist

Svetlana Shamshurina is an artist living in Moscow who studied painting at the Moscow Academy of Arts and in private lessons with Moscow artists, with the opportunity to absorb their skills and experience.

"For me, every clean canvas is a source of infinite joy, because each painting not only gives freedom of self-expression, but also a reason to see the world differently and feel its nuances. The styles closest to me are Impressionism and Expressionism. I write in different styles and techniques to maximize my abilities and to learn something new after mastering the next tough task.
